Under Attack But Don't Fall Back

King Herod, the grandson of Herod the Great, killed James and imprisoned Peter. The latter effort, however, was to no avail, as Dr. John Whitcomb explains in this exposition of Acts 12. He shows the power that even our briefest, feeblest prayers can have in the Third Heaven, as seen in this episode of the deliverance of the Apostle Peter from prison. Herod suffered a very different end, but God used all of the circumstances in this chapter for the promotion of His truth.
