The Remedy For Revival

Do you ever lose your focus on why you are here and what you are supposed to do? We all do. That is why we need faithful preaching from God’s Word to remind us of the surpassing value of knowing Christ Jesus our Lord (Phil. 3:8). Tonight, I desire for us to look into Haggai 1 and be reminded of what happens when we lose our focus. We need to see God. We need to know God. We need God’s presence. We need His convicting power. We need to draw near. We need to “Consider our Ways.” From the passage, we will consider 1) The Purpose of Man is to Give God Glory 2) The preoccupation of worldly pleasures does not please God 3) Placing God and His Work first provides the greatest pleasure/ satisfaction in life.
