David Hume Part 2
Series Liberal Christianity
Because David Hume was so committed to his empirical paradigm of determining truth, he had no room for supernatural beings like God or supernatural events like miracles. However, Hume's skepticism was not just relegated to the supernatural but also extended to the natural. His denial of certainty was also directed towards natural laws and so at the end of the day, Hume placed into doubt whether any truth could really be known, even those truths that were ascertained through the senses, his precious empirical paradigm.
