No Partiality James 2:1-13
I want us to look at what James has to say about "No Partiality." Your biggest problems and mine are people problems -- getting along with other people. "To dwell above with those you love, that will be a glory. But to dwell below, with those we know, that's another story." James talks about "How do you get along with people? He gives us the Principle, the Problem, and the Prescription in this passage.3 THINGS TO APPLY TO OURSELVES
collectively on Sunday and personally every other day of the week

1. Treat Everyone the Same. V.1-8
   The Principle of Impartiality.
   we treat everyone the same.
2. We need a zero-tolerance policy on this. V.9-11
   The Principle of Authenticity.
   we're not playing games with God's commandments; we're holding ourselves to a higher standard of loving others.
   3.Be generous in evaluating others. v.12-13
   The Principle of Reciprocity: what you do comes back to you. Show mercy, receive mercy. Deny mercy, receive judgment. It's your choice.
