What? Me Worry?

SERMON OUTLINE – Luke 12:22-48

Introduction:

Theme: As a Christian, you are commanded by your Lord not to worry. Besides this being futile, God knows what you need and provides for you. Instead, as those who are faithful servants, seek treasure in heaven.

Note vv. 22 and 29:

A. The very nature of worry is that it is futile; it ultimately accomplishes nothing.

B. Instead of worry, you are to trust your heavenly Father.

C. Instead of worry, your attitude is to be one of waiting for Christ’s return.

D. Instead of worry, you should strive for faithfulness.
