The Life-Giving Power of Jesus

This by far was the greatest miracle that Jesus performed. It made the unbelief of His disciples completely inexcusable. It certainly makes our unbelief inexcusable. Jesus never told us to believe what we can understand. He told us to believe everything He said. Those two things are very different.

We were never called to try and figure things out and then limit God to what we believe it's possible for Him to do. Martha should have been filled with excitement about the unlimited power of Jesus to fulfill His promise. Instead she throws up an obstacle; "he stinketh".

If we will return to that simple childlike faith then we will see God do marvelous things for His glory and the salvation of people.
