What is the Covenant between God and His People and what is it's basis? How do we enter into it?

The Covenant relationship between God and His chosen people is so close, that the word Moses uses for that relationship is the same one used between husband and wife.

We need to understand that the basis for that relationship are the awesome and miraculous works of redemption he has done for His people, and reflecting on that and the relationship He has entered into it with us, continue to walk with HIM in HIS ways all the days of our lives.
