The Seeker & the Suffering Singers

The Lord gave Paul the "Macedonian Vision," so Paul went with his team through the region and came to Philippi. In Philippi, he shared the gospel with the seeker Lydia in the place of prayer.

After he and Silas were arrested for silencing the possessed slave girl who made a spectacle of the trips to the place of prayer, Paul and Silas spent their night praying and praising God in song.

God knows those who are seeking Him. Let us pray that we will be obedient to His leading to speak to lost seekers about the Lord Jesus Christ! God knows when His people respond to suffering by thanking Him, praising Him, and trusting Him. Let us then cast our burdens upon God with every confidence that He will sustain us!
