Despondency Exposed & Remedied

The comforting promise of Isaiah 40:27-31 continues to be unfolded. Despondency, to which this promise answers, is exposed (:28) and remedied (:29-31). The core of the promise is the Lord's supply of new capacity to exert and to endure. May weary Christians employ common and spiritual means, as they expectantly wait upon the Lord, so as to appropriate such promised strength.
