3. Identity That Impacts The World

The question of identity is closely connected with the quest for purpose. In Psalm 84 we find

both our purpose and our identity are not defined by what we do, but by who we are with. As we

enjoy the presence of God, we are transformed by it, and it follows that we then transform the

world around us, as we are present in it. In his presence, we find our purpose and strength,
making the desert valley a place of springs.
