Discerning and Wise

In Genesis 41:37-43, Pharaoh recognizes the Spirit of God in Joseph, manifest through discernment and wisdom. Pharaoh assigns to Joseph the important task of overseeing the coming seven years of prosperity followed by seven years of severe famine. Joseph is given authority over all Egypt, second only to Pharaoh himself, all according to God's purpose and plan.
