Walking Alone and Completely Free

Jesus walked through life almost completely alone in terms of human support. He always had the presence of His father and the Holy Spirit to sustain Him. His disciples for the most part did not comprehend the full scope of His ministry and were not able to go all the way with him at Gethsemane. Any following amongst the people was fickle. Almost the entire religious leadership was vehemently against Him. The reality is that we are His faithful follower we will experience much of the same. We must learn not to expect too much from people. If we will find all our satisfaction in Him and doing His will that He will provide the same resources He had to make it through. Then we will be free to minister to people without needing anything in return. Jesus was the freest person that ever walked this earth and He gives us the privilege of knowing that freedom in Him.
