Men, Marriage and Love

The woman was designed by God to be the helper for the man. The Bible reveals that this was God's intention for man and woman, in Genesis 2 - before the fall. Marriage was an essential and vital part of God's plan from the beginning. This plan will be individualized for the majority, but not one and all, as Scripture also indicates there will be some men and women whom God will intend to live the single life.

The man needs a helper and the woman was created by God specially fitted for this role. In the Bible, the woman is primarily seen in her relationship to man and it is in this role her responsibilities are detailed. The man then must see the woman in this role and recognize, with appreciation, how important the woman is to the man. With her, the man can maximize his potential in his responsibilities before the Lord.

This makes it extremely important for the man to recognize what the woman is to be and how he his to love and care for her.
