Since God Has Given You An 'A' When You Deserve An 'F,' Why Bother To Do Anything?

Since God has given you an 'A' when you deserve an 'F,' why even bother to do anything? Since we are accepted by God on the basis of Jesus' work, why should we do any work at all? Since we are bless by God on the basis of Jesus' merit and not on the basis of anything we do, why do anything? These questions go to the issue of our motivation. Why do we do what we do?
