Put on the New Self

I. You did not learn Christ this way (i.e. in a sinful way of life)

II. If indeed you have heard Him
(time will tell whether a convert is a true convert)

III. Lay aside the old self
*the old self, or old man, is like a dead corpse that can still desire things and still influence us; he follows us around; we have to crucify him again and again

IV. Be renewed in the spirit of your mind

V. Put on the new self
