A Good Word for the Sinner
Series Parables
Because there was a propitiation there was a justification. Jesus declared the Publican, the sinner, to be justified. He used the same basic word having to do with justification in these two parables: two times avenge and once justified. The root word each time is in the original language the same. It is just or righteous. It's as a person ought to be; it's a person accepted by God. He sovereignly declared His elect justified.
