The Office of the Pastor

The first of two offices in the church is the pastor. Such terminology as pastor, elder, and bishop are synonymous terms for the same office. Pastors are often targets of the enemy, so, qualified pastors are essential, as well as, church members who pray for him. Paul often asked for prayer as well. God help the biblical pastors to shepherd the flocks over which the Holy Ghost has made them overseers.
