Psalm24 - Who is this King of Glory?

We are waiting for the King to return to His throne and set all things right. The Messiah has accomplished His Father's work perfectly by His death and resurrection, and now has been given the scepter by which He can rule the nations. The Messiah has come to Jerusalem and is setting up His kingdom. Christ is the conquering and victorious King. David's declaration that the LORD sovereignly reigns over creation (v.1-2). David's meditation on the holy requirements of God's people (v.3-6). David's celebration of the victorious return of God to His throne (v.7-10).
