How the Transmission of the Bible Compares With the Koran (Islam - Part 3)

How was the Koran transmitted. Most Muslims believe it is the word of Allah and that Mohammed had nothing to do with it, except dictating it. But the truth is quite otherwise. Christians, of course, don't believe that it is the word of Allah. They believe it is the word of Mohammed. And yet, there is much reason to question how much of the Koran can be attributed to Mohammed and how much can be attributed to his quarreling followers in the midst of the ensuing Sunni/Shiite split. The Bible, on the other hand, has a rich history of transmission and we have very sound reasons to believe that the manuscripts we have today are absolutely trustworthy. The Bible has not been lost and the there was no conspiracy to conceal the real text.
