The Secret Mission with God's Armor-bearer 1 Samuel 13:1-23;14:1-52Jonathan's young armor-bearer went after Jonathan all the way to victory, no matter what the cost seemed to be. We need some young people today who will go "after Jesus" all the way.There are many obstacles put in the way of following Jesus. One present day obstacle for young people is popularity. Moses told the people of Israel that the Lord would fight for them, and that's the way the young person must learn to live his Christian life through Christ.The young armor-bearer said, "I am with Thee."The plan of victory here in these verses have been directed by God himself to Jonathan. God has a plan of attack for each young person.The way up for a young person is the way down! "We, through His poverty, might be made rich," the Bible tell us. The young person must know that God works better through us when we humble ourselves. "To obey is better than sacrifice". Results of following Jesus all the way is Victory in Jesus.
