Charting our own path

There is a danger out there that is becoming more prevalent in our churches. The notion that we can do what ever we want in our lives without truly seeking God's will for us. And it is becoming more common place for the local church as a whole. More and more are coming under the opinion that so long as it involves the church we have God's blessing on it and all that is needed is to just go through the motions because we have already been charting our own path. This comes from us being so certain that we already know how God is directing us because it lines up with what we want.
