Seven Lessons Concerning Faith

1. Intimacy can hinder faith by becoming presumptuous (John 4:44; Malachi 1:13; Isaiah 43:22).
   People have a hard time viewing the supernatural and eternal things with the right perspective because we are so focused on the temporal things of this life. Here was the God of the universe standing before His brethren and THEY LIMITED what He could do because of their unbelief.

2. Experience should increase faith (John 4:45; Genesis 30:27; Romans 5:3-5).

3. True faith leads to action (John 4:46-47; James 2:17-26).

4. Weak faith seeks evidence (John 4:48-49; Judges 6:36-40).

5. Strong faith accepts God's word (John 4:50; Romans 4:16-22).

6. Mustard Seed faith moves mountains (John 4:51-53; Matthew 17:14-21).

7. Fruitful faith bears multiplies itself (John 4:53; Mark 9:24).
   • What about it? Are you willing to ask God to help strengthen your faith?
   • All of us could use a greater dose of faith! It is a healing ointment like no other.
