Question #12--Tell Us About Scriptural Baptism. There are four essential "parts" or "aspects" or "elements" to Baptism. In this message, Pastor Hille expounds The ONLY Mode of Baptism: Immersion / Emersion. The original Greek Word "Baptizo" demands that we "dip, plunge, immerse and emerse" the candidate; the symbolic picture of a death, burial and resurrection bears this out; the baptism of Jesus and Ethiopian Eunuch teach us that it was done in this fashion.
Pastor Hille also brings out the practical teaching of baptism. The person who is baptized is declaring to all that they are dead unto to sin and alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord. That being said, from that point forward, the person baptized is to live for the Lord. Are we? We pray the Lord will use this to exhort you to live for Christ!
