Strength in Weakness and Joy in Sorrow

The Psalmist switches back and forth between lament and petition. He finds himself "collapsing in the dirt" and "collapsing from grief. Yet his petition is to understand the way of His precepts and find his strength according to His Word." The word and ways of God are for God's people strength in sorrow.
