Truth & Slander - Ninth Commandment Pt. I

Is there such a thing as truth? Does truth exists apart from what we believe it is? Or is truth, like beauty, in the eye of the beholder? Does truth change with the passing of years, or among different cultures around the world? Is truth relative, depending on the situation or the person? If the headhunters of the Amazon believe what they do is right, is it truth for them?
