Dealing with Sin Pt 2

Eight Biblical truths concerning how the believer deals with sin:

1. Basic to the life of the believer
2. Begins, on God's part, with the conviction of the Holy Spirit
3. Begins, on our part, with a crying out for God's mercy
4. Begs God for forgiveness
5. Pleads for God for cleansing
6. Acknowledges to God a specific offense
7. Recognizes our offence as first and foremost against God
8. Accepts whatever God's discipline is.
