Confession is the path to real relationships with God and others. The believer does not have to put on an act to be loved by the Lord. Instead, they can be vulnerable with Jesus, the only person who can free them from their sin and shame.God created us to be dependent, not only on Jesus, but on one another. We are not meant to carry our burdens alone. Believers cannot work on their issues, while also maintaining the disguise of having it all together. To live this out requires a risky vulnerability.
