This is Jesus

As Mark closes his Gospel we come face to face with who Jesus is. He is the Lord, the Son of God, and the King of all. The ending is not what we expect, but when we examine it in light of the rest of the Gospel, we can see what Mark is doing. He is presenting Jesus as the Son of God who demands a response from us.
