The sins of the father can cause much heartache. Gideon, like us, was human and struggled with sin of the flesh. Gideon had a son with his concubine and we look at the passage where Abimelech convinces the people to make him King. We look at the fable told by Jotham and are challenged to be ready for what the Lord calls us to do.
