What, Why, Who of Baptism 1

Some understand baptism as a thing you have to do every time you join a new church. Some have even encountered employers or school masters who require candidates to be baptised in order to be admitted. Some people consider baptism a type of lucky charm that earns them favour with God--maybe even thinking of baptism as the thing that makes them right with God!

If you desire to be baptised for any of these reasons, it would be better not to be baptised. Rather, think carefully about what the Bible says about Baptism.
