Rome, the empire of iron was strong enough to all cultures it encountered, though unable to effectively maintain its dominion; but Satan was learning. But, like iron, Rome was inherently weak and "rusted" through until it disintegrated; however, its influence never died. Revived Rome became the basis for Western culture; especially America.
