We Have No Rights!
Series Independence Day
We value our rights. But Jesus teaches us to deny self, take up our cross, and follow Him. There are consequences for refusing to do so: We lose the opportunity to participate in our eternal life. We may gain the world and lose our souls. Being ashamed of Jesus means He will be ashamed of us. We not only value our rights, we nurse and resent wrongs. We must learn to be patient, gentle, and forgiving.
