What does it mean to be saved?

This sermon answers the question, what does it mean to be "saved"? Christians use many words and phrases that are often misunderstood. This series intends to explain those terms so you can understand them and be able to explain them to others. In sermon 1 of this series, we define "saved" by answering three major questions; "what is your danger?", "who saves you from that danger?", and "how does he save you from that danger?" We will see that Jesus is the Rescuer God sent to save us from our dangerous eternal life-threatening situation, and he rescues us through union with Christ. Other Scriptures referred to in the sermon are Judges 3:7-11, and Psalm 34:11-22.
