The Widow's Mite

This expository sermon focuses on the story of the widow who gave two small coins to God and Jesus said she gave more than all the rich who gave that day. Jesus all people contributing that day, indicating his interest in our giving to God. He not only sees your gift but also your motive for giving. The rich gave publicly in the presence of many people to receive praise; the widow gave out a love for God. Using her example, Jesus taught his disciples to give liberally, sacrificially and by faith in God to provide for our daily needs.
