The Blessing of Joseph

Jacob's blessing upon Joseph reveals three characteristics of the man blessed by God:

I. ABOUNDING IN SPIRITUAL FRUIT (22-23)

A. Fruitfulness is our purpose
B. Fruitful in spite of obstacles and opposition
C. Persevering in fruitfulness

II. AIDED BY THE STRENGTH OF THE FATHER (24-25)

A. God’s hand strengthens
B. God’s hand upholds
C. God’s hand directs

III. APART FROM SINNERS AND FILTHINESS (26)

A. God demands separation
B. Separation is a testimony
C. Separation requires the power of the Holy Spirit
