Will we fully submit our will to the will of God?

It is easy for us to forget what it means to be controlled by the Holy Spirit.

1. According to v22 wives will bear the mark of the Spirit control through their submission to their own husband

What is submission?
It is NOT
a. Merely obedience
b. Man and Women are not equal under the Lord
c. One isn't as valuable as the other
d. Merely compliance
e. The you lose your identity or opinion

Woman was made out of Man's rib
NOT His head, that she should rule over him
NOT His foot, that she should be tramped on
But His rib, that she my be beside, co-heir, under his arm

Biblical Submission is more about Priority then Authority

Wives are you guarding your husbands position not because of who he is but
because of who God is and what God has done for you?

Two Reasons for wives to submit

1. "as to the Lord"
2. "as a headship issue"

• a body that doesn't listen to the head is disabled or handicapped. Likewise, many of our homes are disabled and handicapped before the Lord.
