God's Timelessness

Out of a statement that affirms the doctrine of the eternity of God many have sought to misinterpret the sense of the text and to make it a foundation for heresy concerning the creation of the world or concerning the end of the world. This message seeks to place the truth of God's eternal nature in the context of what it means for His creatures. They cannot comprehend what it is to be eternal, and they shall never possess God's eternal nature. But they can be humbled at the thought that God has made time and will cause it to come to an end. They can resolve to make the best possible use of the brief time they have to live in this world. Those who do not know Christ as Savior can resolve to trust in Him while they have the time in which to do so.
