Hypocrisy in the Church

In contrast to Barnabus — "a marvelous, Godly, gracious man; a man of God" — Ananias and Sapphira were found to be hypocritical liars in the early church. The amazing thing is not that God struck them dead, but that He shows grace in allowing us to live. Though God was doing a unique work at that time in the history of the church, we can still learn much from this incident for our lives today.
