Grumbling, God and You

Grumbling and groaning are 2 different things. The whole creation groans (Romans 8:22). But grumbling is an assault on God (16:8). God put Israel in this situation to "test" them (v. 4). Why? What was He going for? And why did they grumble instead of trust God. This passage and the divine commentary in Hebrews 3:16-19 enables us to understand and respond in a God-honoring way.
