What God Says About Why Evil Happens

We always struggle with the hard parts of God's sovereignty. To Job's friends it is a matter of reward and retribution and Job is suffering for his own wickedness. Job points out that the wicked prosper and hard things happen because God does what He wants. When God finally confronts him, He challenges Job to answer His questions which all point to one thing: God's wisdom is beyond questioning and He is in control.
