The Cross as God's Crisis

Proclaiming the word of the cross in any place and at any time (let alone on a university campus) brings a confrontation between the wisdom of God and the so called wisdom of this age. In the preaching of the cross, God himself speaks to the world which stands in opposition to him. This speaking promotes a krisis (judgement/sifting) which cannot be avoided.
