Thanksgiving to God for our Salvation (1)

The Apostle Paul everywhere wrote of God’s glory in bringing His salvation to His people through His grace. Paul gave all glory, or credit, to God alone for salvation. Salvation is not the product of cooperation between God’s offer of grace and the willing response of the sinner; it is wholly a work of God’s grace apart from works. Paul sets forth this matter quite clearly in 2 Thessalonians 2:13-17, which we address today.
