Ephesians 2:1-3

I. Assessing Our Human Nature
A. People are a little messed up, but they are basically ”OK”

B. People are sick, even mortally sick, but at least they are alive and have a spark of good in them, therefore they have hope.

C. People are not well; nor are they sick; they are dead (v.1)

II. Assaying Our Hearts' Nastiness
A. Following the ways of the world (v.2)

B. Gratifying your our sinful nature (v.3a)

C. Existing as objects of God's wrath (v.3b)

III. Addressing Our Helpless Neediness
A. Understanding the true impact of sin in my life.

B. Accepting the terrible wickedness in my own heart.

C. Realizing my desperate and critical need for a Savior.
