A Desperate Cry For A Mediator
Series Trusting in God's Sovereignty
Job's response to Bildad; he acknowledged: I. God's Sovereignty & Justice (9). His response was nothing
less of Theocentric response, which recognized: I. The Futility of Contending with God (1 – 12). Job
reasons that; this endeavor would be or is futile due to three (3) reasons: a) because of God's Justice – (2 -
3) b) because of God's Wisdom (v4) and c) because of God's Omnipotent Power (5 – 12). Therefore;
remember that; we even if don't comprehend how and why the Lord is doing things in our live; our
response must always be 'trust'. Trusting Him wholly and seek His gracious keeping; and amidst
adversity; give glory to God, and not the evil one by asserting "this is the devil's doing, this; that or the
other; or the devil is behind this…". Rather endeavor to see or trace the finger-print of God's providence in
those darkened hours.
