Galatians 07 Paul's Argument by Analogy, not Allegory

We are free. We are children of promise, children of the free woman, not of the slave woman. This makes us free. Paul will head off the attempt to claim that if we are free that means licentious living. We are getting close to the most important chapter in Galatians where Paul will tell us how to live the Christian life. That's what this whole book is going for. How do we live the Christian life successfully? Not by law, not by license. That much should be clear so far. There is another way! A grace way. A faith way. That is part of the gospel because the gospel is for justification (getting right with God) and sanctification (growing with God)
