A Message for the Soul Winner

We should be in the business of turning sinners back from the error of his sins. It only took one sin to plunge the whole race of man into sin. And death spread to all of us from the sin of one man. Any soul has a multitude of sins from which they must be delivered. There is a need to cover sins that are actually committed. Christ's covering of redemption covers men from both the guilt and power of sin. The sinner has wandered from the truth. But we would turn them from that, and bring them back into the way of truth and righteousness. The duty of the brethren and the mission of the church is to turn sinners back. Anyone among you in your church assembly, or any among people in society in general. The Lord wants us to turn them back. We can't save a soul from death or cover sins. That is God's work. But He is gives us responsibility in relation to these matters. We are to press on in this good work. 1st, there is an Implied truth - That God has promised to be with us. And 2nd - There is an explicit motivation given - That by our efforts, in relation to God's work, we might actually save a soul from death. If you save one soul from death, you cover a multitude of sins.

There are 3 things to take notice of here in this regard:

1. You need to believe that there is such a thing as sin.
2. There is judgment yet to come because of sin.
3. People you speak to need to believe in this covering for sin. It is an appropriate covering. It is the covering of our Lord Jesus Christ and His redemption.
