Psalm 86 - Prayer and God's Sovereignty - Part 7

Psalm 86 provides a ready example about prayer and the sovereignty of God. The psalm is titled and formulated as a prayer and three names of God confess His sovereignty. We should learn an important lesson from the study of this psalm that we don't become embroiled in disputes or go off on speculations about the sovereignty of God. The doctrine of the absolute sovereignty of God is not to satisfy our intellectual curiosity, but to reassure us in humility and faith.
