  6. The Power of the Gospel:

Many of us know Paul’s story. Paul was a Jew who originally was a persecutor of Christians. His life changed when he met the risen Lord Jesus on the road to Damascus. We find his confrontation with Christ mentioned in Act 9.

Paul had been heading to Damascus to persecute believers there. God had a plan for Paul and when Jesus intervened in his life Paul became a Christian.

Paul was commissioned by the Lord to take the God’s good news of the Gospel to all sorts of people.
Paul became the greatest missionary of the early Church. God used Paul in preaching and in starting churches. God also used Paul to write letters to individuals and to churches in his day. One of the letters Paul wrote was the letter to the Romans.

Many lives have been changed when people have understood the great truths of salvation contained within the book of Romans..
