God's Greeting

The salutation is more than just common expressions of greeting of the ancient world. The background of the salutation really is the royal greeting of kings to their subjects. So, from this we see the reality of God's kingdom, and the very nature of God's desire for us as Christians. Moreover, since God's Word is powerful, the very desire of the salutation, grace and peace, is both guaranteed and confered to the church.
