Say to the Righteous— It Will Be Well

A Teaching from Ezekiel 22, Isaiah 3, Psalm 25, Psalm 37, and 1 Corinthians 9

I. God Is Looking for a Difference Maker

Truth: Ezekiel 22:30

"So I sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land, that I should not destroy it; but I found no one."

God was not looking for a celebrity, a politician, or a crowd—He was looking for a man to stand in the gap, to build up the broken wall, to intercede for the land. Yet, in a time filled with religious voices, none were true prophets.

They were "her prophets" (v. 28)—not the Lord's. They plastered over sin with untempered mortar, offering false assurances that peace would come, when God had not spoken peace. They saw visions of their own minds, not of the Spirit.

God says: "I looked among them…" That means He was searching within the compromised people—for someone willing to repent, intercede, and lead—but found no one.

II. The Prophets Lied and the People Suffered

Truth: Ezekiel 22:29–31

The leaders were lying and the people were sinning:
• Oppression was rampant.
• Robbery became normal.
